EXPERIMENTING WITH PRINT
This project is a redesign of Marshall McLuhan’s influential work, The Medium is the Massage, featuring entirely new graphics and typography. The focus was to deconstruct and reimagine the original content through a visual interpretation that captures and amplifies McLuhan’s core ideas.
Throughout the redesign process, I emphasized experimentation, reader engagement, and conceptual development, using dynamic layouts, layered imagery, and bold typographic choices to mirror the book’s exploration of media, perception, and communication. The goal was not just to present McLuhan’s message, but to immerse the reader in an active experience, allowing the medium of the book itself to become part of the message.
